How we report
Superfood Times covers the organic and botanical ingredient trade: certification, imports, sourcing, pricing, and the market forces behind them. Our coverage decisions are made independently. We accept no sponsored placements, no pay-to-play coverage, and no compensation for reviews or rankings.
Sourcing and verification
Every statistic, regulation, date, and price in our reporting is drawn from a named primary or authoritative source: USDA and FDA databases, the Federal Register, trade data services, peer-reviewed research, and established trade publications. Sources are cited and linked inline. Claims that cannot be verified against a source are cut before publication.
Use of AI in our newsroom
Superfood Times uses AI tools for research assistance and drafting. Every article then passes through automated fact-checking against its cited sources, and no article is published without human editorial review and approval. We believe the standard that matters is whether reporting is accurate, sourced, and useful, and we hold every piece to it regardless of how the first draft was produced.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct the article and note the correction. Send correction requests through our contact page; we read every one.
Health claims
We report research findings as findings, with citations. Nothing we publish is medical advice, and we do not make therapeutic claims about any ingredient.
Ownership
